I Fell Off The Wagon
I fell off the wagon..
My wife, Joni, and I stopped planning. We continued with our life, went to the lake, and spent time with our kids, but we stopped our routine of planning our work weeks.
At first, you miss one week, out of month. Then two. Then...
I have fallen off the wagon before.
It's a mental game to GET BACK ON the wagon. We got back on the wagon on May 12.
We got a new coach. Before that we were enrolled in Landmark Education, and used different types of planners (Panda Planner)...... and a number of others.
And, I will fall off the wagon again.
Where are you... on the wagon ...or OFF? If off, what do you need to get back ON? Financial Planning is like that. You start, get rolling, get some savings, buy some insurance, get busy, have an emergency, indulge a little, then you stop. Or the extended lockdown put a lockdown on your income, planning, savings and growth strategies. Consider this an encouragement (or kick in the pants, if that is more effective).
First, make an appointment with your advisor and gather up all your statements-savings, debt, mortgage, RESP, RRSP. Then put the date on your calendar to meet with your coach, invest in a proven system to meet your goals. Now is the best time to get back on the wagon.
It's your time. Get started. Stay with it. You and your family are worth it!
